In 2006,Highlander developed the HLD-B2 VDR complying with international standards IMO A.861(20) and IEC 61996 ed. 1.0.

    The Vessel Monitoring and Management System (VMS) includes Vessel Remote Monitoring and Management System and Vessel Local Monitoring and Management System.

    2009,Highlander independently developed the new generation ship Steering Control System(HLD-SC 100), the system includs 3 parts: Manual steering control system(now applying CCS type approval),Heading control system(now applying BSH type approval),Track control system(now applying BSH type approval).

    Inmarsat Communication Controller Module (ICCM) is used to set up communication link between ship equipments and Inmarsat-C/F. ICCM can be used to send data such as voyage data acquired by VDR, video & audio data, engine data, cargo data acquired by VMS, and other equipment data to onshore user end. Onshore management software is provided for display and playback of vessel data, as well as for data storage and data statistics.

    2009,Highlander made a cooperating agreement with a Europe company,going to develop X-BAND and S-BAND IMO Radars.Now 4kw x-band Radar for the yacht and fish boat was developed,and the X-BAND IMO Radar was planned to be developed and got the BSH type approval before 2010.
